Down" located at 231 S. Third Street (corner of 3rd &
Bridger) located inside the Old Historic Church of Las Vegas
/ Manpower Copy Center Building. This event is sponsored by
this FREE community website and will feature LIVE
instrumental gospel, jazz and spirituals by Gospel Recording
Artist Carlton Malone And Friends PLUS various gospel
artists from throughout the Las Vegas valley.
1st
Sundays are set aside for YOUTH & YOUNG ADULTS -
A Great "AFTER CHURCH" Christian Hang Out spot - Gospel
DVDs, Food, Fun, Fellowship, Music, Open Mic, etc.
3rd Sundays are set
aside for ADULTS - special "TURN BACK THE CLOCK" segments
featuring Carlton Malone and Friends debuting gospel music
from 1960's, 1970's, 1980's and 1990's - SPECIAL GUEST
ARTISTS, each set.

Individuals may purchase tickets ONLINE for only $10 per
person. All Youth/Young Adult (under 21 years old) are only
$7. There is also a 20% discount for all paid Churches in
Las Vegas.com subscribers (bring your MEMBERSHIP CARD
and/or your ONLINE receipt).
CHURCHES
We are requesting your support by reserving 10 tickets for
your ministry at a total cost of ONLY $100 on behalf of your
church). If you are interested in supporting this
effort,

“ROOFTOPS”
Las
Vegas, Nevada –July 11, 2006– Nevada Fair Housing Center,
Inc. (NFHC) along with its signature event sponsor Bank of
America, announce the 1st Annual “Rooftops”
Housing Expo. This event is a unique collaborative
effort which has been designed to introduce and ignite
relationships between exhibitors and attendees regarding
mortgage lending, new home buyer information, businesses who
provide professional and affordable security systems and
home improvements, access to credit and credit repair and a
plethora of other innovative and trustworthy partners
interested in improving the quality of life for everyone who
desires it.
The expo on
Saturday is free and open to the public, and will feature
free credit reports, available to the first 300 attendees of
the expo. Gail Burks, President of Nevada Fair Housing
Center will be honored on Friday, celebrating her legacy of
dedicated service to the underserved population regarding
fair housing and accessible credit, which spans over a
decade. The event schedule is as follows:

NFHC’s efforts work toward the realization of the American
dream...homeownership. Proceeds from this event will be used
to enhance the multifaceted programs and initiatives of NFHC,
which was founded in 1993. NFHC provides consumer
protection from predatory lending practices, enforces the
Fair Housing Act, and encourages financial institutions to
invest in low income communities under the Community
Reinvestment Act.
Through
programs that ensure equal access to capital and credit,
financial literacy, asset-building and first-time home-buyer
programs NFHC continues to support neighborhood
revitalization. NFHC also works with local municipalities
to implement long range plans to affirmatively further fair
housing.
